Details
A long-cherished vision has become reality: a connection between Zermatt and the Italian resort of Cervinia, unbroken and operational throughout the year, thanks to the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing. Since 1 July 2023, the Matterhorn Glacier Ride II is the final piece of the puzzle, as the highest continuous Alpine crossing by cable car was completed. The modern cableway links the peak Matterhorn Glacier Paradise with Testa Grigia.
- Bike transport to Cervinia will be possible from 2024 (dismantled and checked in as luggage)
- Dogs must be kept on a leash and muzzled on all lift facilities in Cervinia

- Bambini up to the age of 8.99 years: free
- Children 9 - 15.99 years: 50%
- Children with Junior Card / Co-Travelcard (accompanied): free on cable cars in Switzerland
- GA, half-fare, Swiss Travel Pass: 50% on cable cars in Switzerland

The amount of the reduction depends on the date of birth. Official ID showing date of birth required.
Access to the Italian area will be sold in the name and for the account of Cervino Spa and Cime Bianche Spa. The exact details of the Italian and Swiss shares will be announced to the clientele by posting at the sales outlets of Zermatt Bergbahnen AG and on the receipt given to the users.
- Tickets between Zermatt and Testa Grigia: all prices incl. 7.7% VAT.
- Tickets between Cervinia and Testa Grigia: all prices incl. 10% VAT.
